Job Description

Join our Newcastle team as an HR Generalist where you'll play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. We seek a proactive individual who is passionate about employee well-being and organisational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment campaigns and partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Provide guidance on employee performance and development plans.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous feedback and innovation.
  • Implement health and safety protocols in line with legislation.
  • Oversee employee benefit programs and maintain records.
  • Represent HR in cross-functional meetings to align on business objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly HR reports for management.
  • Conduct training sessions on company policies and employment legislation.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee morale and satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • CIPD qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR position
