Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Health Information Services Manager to oversee the management and operations of our health information services department. The successful candidate will ensure the accurate and secure handling of patient records, manage regulatory compliance, and implement effective information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for the collection, storage, and retrieval of health records.
  • Lead a team of health information professionals, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse health data and identify trends.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation of health information management systems.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of health records.
  • Update policies and procedures related to health data management.
  • Recommend process improvements and innovative tools based on industry trends.
  • Communicate effectively across teams to support quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
  • Relevant Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in health information management with a focus on leadership.
