Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations in our Southampton office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing payroll.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the payroll team in processing payroll for a large workforce.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll to employees.
  • Manage payroll audits and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Train and mentor payroll staff on best practices and compliance.
  • Review and enhance payroll systems for efficiency.
  • Liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
  • Stay informed on changes in payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CIPP qualification is preferred.
  • Payroll Software Proficiency Extensive experience using payroll software such as Sage or ADP.
  • Tax Compliance Knowledge Strong understanding of UK tax laws and payroll regulations.
  • Data Management Skilled in maintaining accurate payroll records and reports.
  • Attention to Detail Meticulous attention to payroll details to ensure accuracy.
  • Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills for employee interaction.
  • Problem Solving Exceptional ability to address payroll-related issues quickly.
  • CIPP Payroll Technician
  • Payroll Certification from a recognised institution
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with payroll software migration: Experience leading payroll software transitions and training teams.
