Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll for our employees in York. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of payroll systems and compliance regulations, ensuring that all payroll functions are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing using advanced payroll software.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and according to schedule.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Keep abreast of changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare year-end payroll documentation, including P60s and P11Ds.
  • Assist with the integration of new employees into the payroll system.
  • Develop reports to monitor payroll metrics and trends.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior payroll staff.
  • Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits and compensation.
  • Engage with external payroll consultants as necessary to enhance payroll efficiency.
