Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Manager to lead our fleet management team in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and maximising service delivery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement fleet training programmes for staff.
  • Continuously monitor and improve fleet operations through data analysis.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding fleet management.
  • Drive initiatives that reduce fleet downtime and improve reliability.
  • Utilise fleet management software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate new technologies and equipment that can enhance fleet performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fleet operations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CILT, ILM) is an advantage
  • Fleet Management Software Proficient in using fleet management software for monitoring and analytics.
  • Transport Regulations Expert knowledge of UK road transport regulations and compliance.
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire a team.
  • Analytical Thinking Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • CILT Level 3 Certificate in Logistics and Transport
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • English (Fluent)
