Job Description
We are seeking a Public Health Advisor to enhance our community health efforts in Dundee. This position involves assessing health needs, developing programmes, and collaborating with local organisations to improve overall public health outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead initiatives to improve health literacy among the community.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address health challenges.
Organise and facilitate public health campaigns and events.
Collect and manage data for health program assessments.
Advise on the implementation of evidence-based health policies.
Create reports and presentations to communicate health outcomes.
Engage in continuing education to stay current with public health trends.
Develop curricula for health education programs.
Provide support and direction to health promotion volunteers.
Promote wellness initiatives in schools and community centres.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
Master's degree in Public Health or related field is highly desirable
Experience
4-6 years of experience in public health or a community health setting
