Job Description
As a Labor Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with labour laws. You will address grievances, facilitate negotiations, and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Handle the employee disciplinary process, including issuing warnings and conducting disciplinary meetings.
Provide guidance to management on performance management issues and employee development.
Stay updated with current industry trends and best practices in employee relations.
Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure cohesive employee relations practices.
Participate in labour negotiations and represent the company in grievances.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field
Professional qualification in HR is advantageous
Experience
Experience in a unionized environment is preferred
