Job Description

As a Labor Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with labour laws. You will address grievances, facilitate negotiations, and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the employee disciplinary process, including issuing warnings and conducting disciplinary meetings.
  • Provide guidance to management on performance management issues and employee development.
  • Stay updated with current industry trends and best practices in employee relations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure cohesive employee relations practices.
  • Participate in labour negotiations and represent the company in grievances.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field
  • Professional qualification in HR is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in a unionized environment is preferred
