Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cemetery Worker to perform maintenance and upkeep of our cemetery grounds. Key responsibilities include digging graves, maintaining tombstones, and ensuring the area is clean and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on cemetery grounds.
• Assist in archeological excavations as necessary.
• Provide support during burial services.
• Monitor and report on the condition of graves and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the cemetery.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve high standards.
• Participate in training and development sessions.
• Support the community outreach programmes as required.
• Document maintenance work and activities.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Valid driver's license required

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or construction is advantageous.

Technical Skills
