Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Radiographer to join our healthcare team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients. You will utilise state-of-the-art equipment and techniques while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Run advanced imaging techniques under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Evaluate images for quality and technical accuracy.
  • Ensure all imaging protocols comply with best practices and regulations.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families throughout the process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on emerging technologies in radiology.
  • Document and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Engage in research activities where applicable.
  • Support the department in achieving overall patient care goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiography or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in a related field is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging
