Job Description

As a Physiologist, you'll focus on studying human functions and their relation to physical activity. You'll work closely with individuals and groups to assess their fitness levels and develop tailored exercise programs to enhance performance and health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical assessments of clients to determine fitness benchmarks.
  • Create custom rehab programs for patients recovering from injuries.
  • Utilise scientific methods to collect and interpret data relevant to exercise physiology.
  • Work alongside GPs and other health specialists to devise integrated care plans.
  • Advise on nutrition and physical activity strategies to boost performance.
  • Assist in clinical trials and research studies concerning exercise and health.
  • Participate in outreach programs to educate the public on fitness standards.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear manner.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiology, Sports Science, or related field
  • PhD in Physiology is preferred
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
