Job Description

As an Emergency Management Advisor, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing emergency response plans to ensure safety across various sectors. You will collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to enhance community resilience and response strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design emergency management training programs for staff and volunteers.
  • Assess community needs and capacity for emergency preparedness.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant organisations and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in emergency planning.
  • Participate in public forums to promote emergency management awareness.
  • Provide support and guidance during actual emergency responses.
  • Review and improve existing emergency plans based on best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in emergency management or crisis response
