Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Urban Planner with a passion for sustainable design and community development to help enhance urban spaces in Liverpool.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct urban research to inform planning strategies.
  • Create comprehensive development plans highlighting sustainable practices.
  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams for project development.
  • Engage with local communities to gather input and feedback.
  • Prepare planning documentation for governmental approvals.
  • Assess and report on the impact of urban policies.
  • Provide expert advice on urban design and planning issues.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders.
  • Identify funding opportunities for urban development initiatives.
  • Stay updated on local and national legislation impacting urban planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in urban planning or related fields
