Corporate Legal Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Corporate Legal Specialist to manage compliance and contract matters within our firm. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of corporate law, and excellent negotiation skills, ensuring our contracts uphold the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contracts and agreements are in compliance with the law and company policies.
• Analyze legal risks associated with corporate activities and advise management accordingly.
• Work with internal teams to develop contractual frameworks that support business operations.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all corporate documents and contracts.
• Facilitate corporate filings and maintain records in accordance with legal requirements.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders to promote compliance and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent
• Master's degree in Corporate Law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in corporate law or compliance

Certifications

• Certificate in Corporate Governance
• Legal Practice Course (LPC) or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in managing corporate mergers and acquisitions: Hands-on experience in supporting legal aspects of M&A transactions.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus: Other language skills can benefit communication with clients.
