Job Description

As a Labour Relations Specialist, you will be pivotal in negotiating with unions and ensuring compliance with collective agreements. You will build and maintain positive relationships with union representatives and provide support to management on labour relations issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead collective bargaining negotiations with union representatives.
  • Advise management on compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Manage grievances and disputes effectively.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of HR staff.
  • Monitor and report on labour relations metrics.
  • Establish policies for effective labour relations strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • Strong background in the public sector is advantageous.
