Job Description

We're on the lookout for an HR Manager to oversee and enhance our human resources operations in Birmingham. This role will involve creating HR strategies that align with business goals, managing recruitment processes, and fostering a positive workplace culture. As an HR specialist, you will work closely with leadership to implement policies and programmes that support employee development and engagement. Candidates should be passionate about HR and adept at navigating the complexities of workforce management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead talent acquisition and recruitment initiatives.
  • Monitor employee turnover and devise retention strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions to promote workplace diversity and inclusion.
  • Ensure all HR policies are up to date and compliant.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries on HR policies.
  • Facilitate communication between management and staff.
  • Assess workforce needs and plan for future hiring.
  • Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification preferred
Experience
  • Over 7 years in HR with managerial responsibilities
