As an Employee Relations Investigator, you will conduct impartial investigations into employee complaints and concerns. Your role is vital in ensuring fair outcomes and advising management on employee relations matters.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
  • Gather and analyse information from various sources to ascertain facts effectively.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining investigation findings and recommendations.
  • Advise on disciplinary actions in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners to enhance employee relations strategies.
  • Provide training to staff on compliance with employee relations policies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of investigations whilst maintaining quality standards.
  • Develop and implement preventative measures to avoid future employee grievances.
  • Serve as a mediator between employees and management to resolve disputes.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, or related field
  • Evidence Gathering Proficient in collecting evidence and conducting interviews.
  • Report Writing Skilled in drafting comprehensive investigation reports.
  • Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills Strong analytical skills to assess complex information critically.
  • CIPD Certification in Employee Relations
  • Professional Investigator Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in a regulated industry: Background in compliance-heavy sectors is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote teams: Familiarity with managing employee relations for remote staff.
