Job Description

As a Community Organization Worker, you will coordinate and implement community programs aimed at addressing local needs and improving lives. Your role will encompass collaboration with stakeholders, advocacy for community members, and strategic program evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a community-driven approach in program implementation.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and government agencies for support.
  • Organize fundraising events to support community programs.
  • Conduct workshops on social issues relevant to the community.
  • Provide one-on-one support to families needing assistance.
  • Collect and analyse data to assess program impact.
  • Develop communication strategies for community engagement.
  • Train staff and volunteers on best practices for community service.
  • Facilitate group discussions to encourage local involvement.
  • Implement strategies to ensure the sustainability of community projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Community Development is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
