We're on the lookout for skilled Labor Relations Specialists to promote fair workplace practices and resolve conflicts effectively. As a member of our team, you'll be instrumental in negotiating agreements, providing guidance on labor issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in negotiating collective bargaining agreements and ensure adherence to them.
  • Advise on best practices for managing labour relations.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution between employees and management.
  • Track and analyse patterns in employee grievances.
  • Support management in cultivating positive employee relations.
  • Organise training sessions on relevant labour laws.
  • Engage in proactive communication with union representatives.
  • Contribute to labour relations strategies to improve workplace culture.
  • Prepare documentation for negotiations and grievances.
  • Conduct research on legislative changes affecting labour relations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification in Labour Relations is preferred
  • Labour Law Knowledge Deep understanding of UK labour laws and regulations.
  • Negotiation Skills Proficient in negotiating agreements and resolving disputes.
  • Conflict Resolution Skilled in mediating conflicts and complaints effectively.
  • Report Writing Ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills Strong ability to build relationships with diverse teams.
  • Analytical Thinking Proficient in analysing data to support decision-making.
  • Problem Solving Expertise in identifying issues and proposing actionable solutions.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in a unionised environment: Hands-on experience dealing with unions in a professional setting.
  • Knowledge of public sector regulations: Understanding of specific labour relations within the public sector.
