Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Steel Erector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, installation, and dismantling of structural steel components, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings to determine assembly details.
• Prepare and inspect materials prior to installation.
• Assemble and install various components of steel structures.
• Utilize hand and power tools for construction tasks.
• Align steel frameworks accurately as per specifications.
• Join steel parts together through welding or bolting.
• Use lifting equipment for placing steel elements.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other trades on site.
• Keep tools and work areas organized and secure.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in welding or rigging will be advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience in large-scale construction projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Health and Safety Compliance

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with advanced welding techniques: Experience with contemporary welding methods and technologies.
• Understanding of structural engineering principles: Basic knowledge of engineering concepts related to steel erection.
