We are looking for an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to support our legal professionals in Worcester. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the legal team.
Coordinate client meetings and manage calendars.
Conduct preliminary legal research for various cases.
File legal documents with courts and regulatory authorities.
Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.
Assist in compiling discovery materials for litigation.
Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including courts and clients.
Requirements
Education
A-levels or equivalent qualification
Legal qualification is preferred
Experience
1-2 years of experience in a legal assistant or administrative role
Technical Skills
Knowledge of legal terminology and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Case management software proficiency

Excellent communication skills

Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience in family law or criminal law: Previous exposure to family law or criminal law would be beneficial.
