Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to support our legal professionals in Worcester. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the legal team.
  • Coordinate client meetings and manage calendars.
  • Conduct preliminary legal research for various cases.
  • File legal documents with courts and regulatory authorities.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.
  • Assist in compiling discovery materials for litigation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including courts and clients.

Requirements

Education
  • A-levels or equivalent qualification
  • Legal qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal assistant or administrative role
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Case management software proficiency
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in family law or criminal law: Previous exposure to family law or criminal law would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of court procedures: Familiarity with court processes and procedures is a plus.
