Gambling Surveillance Officer

Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Welders, Cutters, Solderers, and Brazers to join our production team. This role involves working on a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Engage in surveillance of gaming floors and betting areas to detect and prevent fraud.
• Review and analyse surveillance footage to identify policy violations.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports of findings to management.
• Assist in training staff on compliance standards and practices.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in gambling laws and regulations.
• Participate in risk assessments to improve safety protocols.
• Host workshops to improve employee awareness of gambling regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Higher education in a related field is preferred
• Any relevant certifications in gambling regulations and conflict resolution

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in gambling compliance or security

Technical Skills

• Database management software proficiency
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of UK gambling regulations and policies: Familiarity with legal frameworks that govern gambling activities.
• Experience with security systems and equipment: Experience using CCTV and surveillance technology in a security context.
