Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Crew Member to assist in navigating and operating our vessels. The successful candidate will perform critical tasks related to vessel operations, ensuring safe and effective navigation while working with our experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bridge Operations Manager in daily navigation tasks.
• Communicate with the engineering and deck teams for smooth operations.
• Carry out regular inspections and tests of navigational equipment.
• Document all activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with load planning and ballast operations.
• Engage in continuous training and development of maritime skills.

Requirements

Education

• STCW Basic Safety Training
• Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Certification

Experience

• Previous experience as a Bridge Crew Member preferable.

Technical Skills

• Navigation Skills
• Radar Operation

• Team Collaboration
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Maritime Industry Authority Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific vessel types: Experience working with various types of vessels and cargo.
• Additional language skills: Proficiency in another language is a plus.
