Job Description

The Furnace Stock Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient stock levels in our furnaces. This position demands a keen eye for detail, as you'll be responsible for accurate measurement and inventory control, collaborating closely with both the production and procurement teams to ensure optimal operation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess stock levels in the manufacturing plant.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock availability.
• Draft detailed reports for the management regarding stock discrepancies.
• Work alongside production teams to maintain seamless operations.
• Leverage inventory management software for accurate tracking.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in stock audits and reconciliations.
• Train new staff on inventory control procedures.
• Develop and implement improvements to inventory management processes.
• Communicate stock needs to the procurement department.

Requirements

Education

• Higher secondary education or equivalent

Experience

• Experience with inventory management systems is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of inventory software

Languages
