HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team in Sheffield. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies that align with company goals.
• Handle workforce planning and talent management strategies.
• Conduct training and workshops on HR-related topics.
• Maintain compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.
• Support employee recognition initiatives and performance awards.
• Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement metrics.
• Assist in planning and executing corporate events and team-building activities.
• Provide support and advice to management on employee relations issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
• CIPD certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a generalist HR role

Certifications

• CIPD Level 3
• First Aid at Work Certification is desirable

Languages

• English: Fluent
