Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Blending Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining blending plant equipment, ensuring high-quality blending of materials, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure raw materials accurately to ensure correct blending ratios.
• Follow standardized procedures to blend chemicals according to production requirements.
• Conduct quality control checks on blended products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the blending area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from process standards to the Plant Manager.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts in the blending process to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or relevant experience in a similar role considered an advantage

Experience

• Prior experience in blending processes, materials, and quality control is preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of industrial blending software and related tools

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a similar manufacturing environment: Experience operating blending equipment in the chemicals or manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations: Understanding of compliance requirements relevant to blending operations.
