Job Description

We are seeking proficient swimmers to join our elite Special Forces unit. As a Basic Combatant Swimmer, you will partake in essential aquatic operations, including underwater reconnaissance and rescue missions. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional swimming skills and an ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex underwater missions with efficiency and precision.
  • Develop and implement diving procedures in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Train and mentor junior personnel in diving operations and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during special operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments prior to underwater activities.
  • Ensure all diving equipment is operational and maintained.
  • Keep detailed logs of all operations and activities performed.
  • Participate actively in strategic planning sessions for aquatic missions.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of Basic Combatant Swimmer Course
  • SC Security Clearance
Experience
  • At least 2 years of active service in the Royal Navy or equivalent
Technical Skills
  • Proficient swimming skills
  • Knowledge of underwater safety procedures
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Trained as a specialist military diver: Experience in specialized diving operations beneficial for special forces.
