Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Leicester team. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. You will play a critical role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialised procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Foster a caring and compassionate environment for both animals and their owners.
• Contribute to the overall management of the clinic.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior veterinary staff.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional qualifications in specialised fields are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice

• Animal Behaviour

Certifications

• BVA membership
• Additional CPD certifications in veterinary fields

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in emergency veterinary care: Experience handling emergency situations and critical care.
• Specialisation in dentistry for animals: Expertise in veterinary dentistry is an added advantage.
