Freight Forwarders

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Freight Forwarders to manage logistical operations and ensure timely delivery of shipments. The ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and exceptional organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full freight forwarding process, from quotation to delivery.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for customs clearance.
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, and road carriers to optimise delivery routes.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers.
• Provide clients with status updates and resolve any shipping-related inquiries.
• Support the sales team by providing quotes and logistics support for new business.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with the training of new staff in logistics processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field
• Certifications such as IATA or FIATA will be beneficial

Experience

• 4+ years in logistics, particularly in freight forwarding
