Job Description

The Community Development Coordinator will lead community engagement and development efforts to build and sustain relationships with local stakeholders. This role includes coordinating community events, programs, and initiatives that bring individuals and families together, encouraging active participation in community building.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strategies for effective community engagement.
  • Organise and facilitate community-building events and initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between community members and external partners.
  • Collect and analyse feedback from stakeholders to assess engagement success.
  • Lead and mentor community volunteers to enhance their impact.
  • Prepare reports on community activities to inform stakeholders.
  • Manage resources and budgets related to community projects.
  • Stay informed about local issues and advocate for necessary changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Experience in community-based organisations is a plus.
