We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to manage our fleet operations in Stevenage. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. You will lead a team of technicians and implement effective maintenance strategies to improve fleet performance.

• Develop and maintain relationships with third-party service providers and suppliers.
• Ensure timely and effective communication regarding maintenance schedules and vehicle availability.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance team and resolve complex issues.
• Assist in the development of training programs for fleet staff.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to safety initiatives.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and forecast issues.
• Ensure all team members comply with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Vehicle Diagnostics Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicle issues.
• Preventative Maintenance Experienced in developing and implementing maintenance schedules.
• Fleet Management Software Skilled in using software for tracking maintenance and repairs.
• Health and Safety Regulations Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety standards in fleet operations.
• Leadership Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
• Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving Adept at finding solutions to complex maintenance challenges.
• Fleet Management Certification
• IOSH Managing Safely
• English (Fluent)

• Certifications in vehicle repair or maintenance: Professional certifications that demonstrate expertise in vehicle maintenance.
• Experience managing a diverse fleet: Proven track record of managing a variety of vehicle types and models.
