Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing health policies, conducting community outreach programs, and collaborating with local agencies to enhance public health.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and assess public health campaigns.
  • Conduct training and workshops for health professionals.
  • Develop partnerships with schools and non-profits for health education.
  • Manage disease prevention and control programs.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness and response efforts.
  • Report on public health issues to the community and stakeholders.
  • Participate in health policy development and advocacy.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Science or a related field
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology or Public Health preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in public health roles
