Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing compassionate care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare, exceptional clinical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses in animals.
  • Carry out surgical procedures in a sterile, controlled environment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for animals.
  • Advise pet owners on preventive healthcare and nutrition.
  • Conduct regular check-ups and health assessments.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Promote and maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in veterinary surgery preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical veterinary experience
