Job Description

We are seeking skilled Rotary Drill Operators to join our dynamic drilling team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency during drilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-drilling equipment checks to ensure proper functionality.
• Monitor drilling activities, making real-time adjustments as necessary.
• Train and mentor junior drill operators and assistants.
• Adhere strictly to environmental and safety standards during operations.
• Participate in safety drills and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and repairs.
• Manage and log drilling parameters to ensure quality control.
• Report any incidents or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship

Experience

• Experience operating specific drilling machinery or tools.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of geological formations
• Safety protocol adherence

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Problem-solving skills

Certifications

• Additional certifications in drilling operations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
