We are on the lookout for a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our Nottingham team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of civil engineering principles, experience with project management, and a passion for contributing to innovative construction solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing infrastructure and propose enhancements.
• Participate in project meetings and report on project status.
• Resolve engineering challenges promptly and efficiently.
• Mentor junior engineering staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles: Knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical design considerations.
• Experience with CAD software beyond AutoCAD: Competence in using other CAD programs for diverse engineering tasks.
