Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our Belfast team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. You'll work closely with developers and project managers to identify issues, test fixes, and maintain the highest standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test plans and scenarios.
• Identify software defects and work with the engineering team to resolve them.
• Automate repetitive testing processes to improve efficiency.
• Track and report on quality metrics for continuous improvement.
• Continually update skills and knowledge of software testing methodologies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of QA policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• JIRA

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Performance Testing tools: Familiarity with tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
• Understanding of Security Testing: Basic knowledge of security testing principles and practices.
