Job Description

We are seeking a proficient Legal Advisor to join our team in Cardiff. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, drafting contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for legal inquiries.
• Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for compliance.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, including commercial agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice to various departments.
• Ensure effective communication of legal regulations to staff.
• Manage external legal counsel and oversee case management.
• Prepare legal opinions and summaries for decision-makers.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current.
• Contribute to internal policies and legislative compliance.
• Assist in the implementation of risk management strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor or equivalent qualification
• Masters in Law is advantageous

Experience

• At least 4 years in legal advisory capacity
