Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Counselor to join our Liverpool team. The ideal candidate will provide support and therapy to clients dealing with various mental health challenges, utilising evidence-based practices and a holistic approach to care.

Responsibilities

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mental health recovery.
  • Conduct client intakes and ongoing evaluations to monitor mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop optimal care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to increase mental health awareness.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Additional training in specific therapy modalities is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 2 years experience in a mental health setting
