Job Description

We are on the hunt for a passionate Wildlife Conservationist to join our committed team in Plymouth. This role involves engaging in field research, monitoring wildlife populations, and implementing conservation strategies. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in wildlife ecology and a genuine passion for protecting the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects related to species recovery and habitat management.
  • Conduct educational outreach in schools and community organisations.
  • Work with researchers to develop new methods of conservation.
  • Participate in grant writing and fundraising activities to support projects.
  • Monitor compliance with wildlife protection regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to interns and volunteers.
  • Attend conferences and seminars to stay updated on conservation trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Conservation Biology or related field
  • Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental conservation
