Job Description

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes, working under the direct supervision of licensed physical therapists. This position caters to individuals of all ages, helping them regain mobility and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of patient care goals.
  • Analyze and report on patient outcomes to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies necessary for patient care.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Encourage patients to engage in their rehabilitation process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
  • Advanced certification in physical therapy is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in providing care to elderly patients is advantageous.
