Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Crane Follower to join our team, responsible for assisting in the safe operation and maintenance of cranes. This role demands attention to detail, the ability to follow protocols, and excellent communication skills as you work closely with the crane operator and other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Support crane operators in the safe and efficient operation of cranes.
  • Follow precise instructions regarding load movements and positioning.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and associated equipment.
  • Help ensure all safety regulations are strictly followed.
  • Provide assistance in the disassembly and assembly operations on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with team members for coordination of lifting operations.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the crane and working area.
  • Perform manual tasks related to crane operations as needed.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work schedules to meet site demands.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Crane Operator Certification
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crane Follower or in a related role.
