Job Description

As a Fleet Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing our fleet operations in Stevenage. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, optimising fleet performance, and maintaining excellent communication with both internal teams and external partners. Your expertise will help us deliver top-notch transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Administer compliance checks and handle regulatory reporting.
  • Evaluate vehicle performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster strong communication with drivers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Perform audits on fleet documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Work with maintenance to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
  • Utilise fleet management software to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Prepare operational reports for senior management.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve fleet efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Business Administration or Transport Management
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in fleet management or logistics
