Join our team as a Fleet Manager in Stevenage, where you'll oversee the fleet operations of our company. You will ensure the efficient and safe management of our vehicles, optimise the fleet's performance, and lead a team dedicated to excellence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of fleet operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers for vehicle acquisitions and disposals.
  • Analyse fleet data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure efficient routing and scheduling of vehicles for maximum productivity.
  • Enforce safety procedures and protocols among fleet personnel.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align fleet operations with organisational goals.
  • Evaluate and select fleet management software and tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes affecting fleet management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Relevant certification in fleet management is a plus
  • Fleet Management Software Proficient in using fleet management systems for tracking and reporting.
  • Data Analysis Skilled in analysing data to develop insights for improving fleet operations.
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
  • Communication Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Fleet Management Certification
  • Health and Safety Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in cost management: Proven track record in managing fleet operational costs efficiently.
  • Certifications in vehicle safety: Certifications demonstrating knowledge of vehicle safety standards.
