Job Description

As a Dredge Captain, you will take charge of all aspects of dredging operations aboard a specialized vessel. This is a pivotal role where you will lead a skilled team to ensure the timely and safe removal of sediments and debris from various marine environments. Your expertise will guide the crew in adhering to safety regulations while maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise dredging activities and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Develop and implement project plans in coordination with management.
  • Monitor crew performance and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Facilitate communication between crew and management.
  • Create detailed reports of dredging operations, noting any issues.
  • Ensure the maintenance and readiness of all dredging equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • Engineering certification
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marine construction projects
