Job Description

Join us as an HR Generalist in Birmingham, where you will manage a variety of HR activities, from onboarding to investigations. This role requires a candidate who is both detail-oriented and able to create an inclusive and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK employment law.
  • Coordinate and implement employee training and development programs.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and promote company culture.
  • Conduct exit interviews and monitor employee turnover rates.
  • Maintain employee records and HR database ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Advisory role on HR matters to line managers and staff.
  • Assist in managing employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • CIPD qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR role
