Job Description

As an Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologist, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems to enhance operational efficiency. You will ensure the smooth functioning of machinery and effectively manage any technical challenges that arise in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated systems to improve production efficiency.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs to manage production machinery.
  • Conduct system inspections and perform necessary repairs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to design innovative automation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during installations.
  • Document all system changes and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in training new staff on automated system operations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies for improving automation processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation
  • Industry-related certifications preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in automation engineering
