Job Description

As a Labor Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a harmonious workplace by fostering strong relationships between employees and management. This position involves negotiating collective bargaining agreements, handling grievances, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with employees and management to foster a positive work environment.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements.
  • Resolve workplace issues by providing expert guidance on employment laws.
  • Assist with compliance audits to ensure proper adherence to regulations.
  • Advocate for employees' rights and promote fair treatment in the workplace.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to labor relations.
  • Deliver workshops on best practices in labor relations.
  • Stay updated on labor market trends and changes in legislation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus
Experience
