Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of our logistics operations in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services. You will lead a team, coordinate with suppliers and vendors, and strive to enhance service delivery while minimising costs.

Responsibilities

  • Direct logistics processes and ensure efficiency.
  • Establish KPIs and monitor performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supervise daily logistics operations and staff activities.
  • Conduct training and development programs for logistics personnel.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize errors.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
  • Provide budget estimates and manage expenditures effectively.
  • Prepare logistics documentation and reports.
  • Implement technology solutions to improve logistics operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or similar field
  • Professional certifications in Logistics/SCM preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of logistics and transportation experience
