Job Description

As a Logistics Manager in Leeds, you will oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to optimize our logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Engage with IT teams to implement logistics software solutions.
  • Foster a safety-first culture in all logistics operations.
  • Track transportation performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize sourcing of logistics services.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all logistics operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics operations
