Job Description

As a Roll Sheeting Cutter, your primary responsibility will be to operate machinery that cuts large rolls of materials into sheets of specific dimensions. The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, ensuring precise measurements while working efficiently in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate machines to ensure optimal performance based on production needs.
• Produce sheets of specified dimensions while maintaining quality standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct periodic quality checks on output sheets to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with other operators and supervisors for workflow efficiency.
• Keep the workstation organized and free from hazards.
• Document any machine adjustments or repairs performed during the shift.
• Assist in training new operators on machine functions and safety policies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in manufacturing processes is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Technical Skills

• Machine Maintenance
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)

• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent
