Clamp Operator

Job Description

The Clamp Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining clamping equipment to move and stack materials in a warehouse or construction site. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring efficient and safe operations, making sure all materials are handled with care and the highest standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate clamping equipment for material handling in the warehouse.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on clamping equipment.
• Manage the inventory system to ensure materials are stocked correctly.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet daily targets.
• Assist in training new operators on best practices for equipment use.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in material handling.
• Document daily operational activities and report to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in clamp operation preferred

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in clamp operation or related field.

Technical Skills

Certifications

• Forklift certification
• Health and safety training certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with other types of materials handling equipment: Familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks would be beneficial.
